Creating a wedding film is not easy. When the wedding day is over, the couple departs on their honeymoon, the cake is eaten, and all the flowers and decorations have been bundled away, my work is just beginning. And I sit down at the computer and watch the footage–imagining the finished product, throwing out unusable clips, while grinning, laughing, or crying at the beautiful ones. I choose just the right music that suits the vibe of the video and the couple’s day, and I start to trim here, slide there, until a film starts to emerge. Then I watch it back, with all the best intentions of sticking to a time limit, and think “there is just too much on the table to cut it like this”.

Angie and Trent had the kind of wedding day that makes it downright painful to cut anything. Their beautiful love and doting friends, easygoing personalities, and gorgeous colors and decor left me with a wedding film that felt unfinished until I said “to heck with time limits” and just edited it the way I wanted it.
