I’m gonna tell you right now: you’re not going to find another groom that outdoes Shane on sheer emotion and gratitude for his bride. I say this a lot, but holy smokes were these two in love with each other and just plain READY to be married. Surrounded by an amazing set of family and friends, their wedding was one of those that I was just thankful to be part of. I learned a lot of things that weekend down in St. Matthews, SC. I learned that accents down there are very different from the Upstate and that R’s at the end of words aren’t really all that necessary. I learned that chicken perlo is a thing and it is delicious. I learned that wedding days have time for fishing. And I learned that it doesn’t matter how hot it is, or what the world is going through, or how long it takes to happen, when two people that truly belong together get married, it is a thing of beauty.
