Thankfulness. If there was a theme running through Josh and Sarah Joy’s wedding weekend, it was thankfulness. Sheer, unadulterated gratitude to God for friendship, family, love, and blessings. And the culmination–of all of the random friendships, the serendipity of two very different people meeting and falling in love, and two families who came to love one another dearly–was the marriage of Josh and Sarah Joy who love one another fiercely and are so grateful to have each other. Sure, some of these folks are my literal family, but I like to think I would have felt right at home even if they weren’t.
